Drink or Drive

***1,250,000***. That is the number of people who died from road traffic injuries every year, according to the WHO (http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs358/en/). In Singapore (https://goo.gl/Ldm9YQ) last year, there were 162 cases of road fatalities and another 6,985 cases of road injuries, with elderly pedestrians an area of concern. There are few global estimates of the costs of injury, but research carried out in 2010 suggests that road traffic crashes cost countries some 3 to 5% of their gross national product. Can data science be useful in identifying the major factors behind road fatalities? Your challenge in this hackathon is to use data provided by the US Department of Transportation to create a model to identify risk factors and predict fatalities.
