In part three of this three-part series led by Chris Testa-O'Neill, you'll explore the design goals for loading data into a data warehouse and the tools that are available to perform the load operations.
This video will explore the design goals for loading data into a data warehouse and show the tools that are available to perform the load operations. A particular focus is given to using Polybase that is able to take full advantage of the Massive Parallel Processing capability of Azure Data Warehouse to maximise the throughput of loading data into the data warehouse. We will finish by looking at Dynamic Management Views that will enable you to retrieve information about the load activities that take place on your server. Demos will also be provided for using PolyBase and loading data through other methods
